In a stock exchange filing, Sequent Scientific said its board has approved a proposal to merge Viyash Life Sciences and its group companies, and its wholly owned subsidiary Sequent Research with it.

The Reserve Bank of India’s foreign exchange reserves reached a new high of $692.3 billion in the week ending September 20, driven by a $2 billion surge in foreign currency assets. I think investor communication on that front would be helpful in cooling off speculation. And I think the stock has now stabilised. But the last three days have been very volatile. So, clarity on that front will be helpful.
